1. What Kalury is
Kalury (kalury.com) is a web application for creating photo gifts — for example printable photo tags for a home printer. It started as a family project for making things at home and keeping beautiful moments of life; its operation can be supported with a voluntary contribution.
2. Using the app
- You can use the app without registration or with a user account.
- You agree not to use the app contrary to law, not to disrupt its operation and not to attempt unauthorised access.
- The operator may restrict or terminate an account for a breach of these terms.
3. Your photos and content
- Without a saved project, you process photos solely in your browser; they are not transferred to the operator’s servers. When you save a project, photos are uploaded to secure EU storage (see the Privacy Policy for details).
- You are solely responsible for the content you process, store and print in the app — in particular for having the necessary rights to the photos used and the consent of the people shown. The operator does not review user content and bears no responsibility for it or for the way the app or its outputs are used.
- Kalury is here for joy — for immortalising the life moments of your loved ones. You must not use the app to create or distribute content that is unlawful, vulgar, extremist, hateful, pornographic or otherwise harmful to the rights and dignity of others. We fundamentally disagree with such use and, if detected, may terminate the account without any compensation.
- We claim no rights to your content.
4. Voluntary contributions
- A contribution towards operation is a voluntary donation; it does not create any entitlement to any service or premium features.
- Contributions are non-refundable; in case of a mistake (e.g. a typo in the amount) contact us and we will try to find a solution.
5. Availability and warranties
- The app is provided “as is”. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
- To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage arising from use of the app; in particular it is not liable for print quality, consumed materials or the loss of unsaved work in the browser.
6. Intellectual property
The Kalury brand, logo, design and source form of the app are protected by the operator’s copyright. Without consent you must not use them beyond ordinary use of the app.
7. Personal data protection
The processing of personal data is described in the separate Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to the terms
We may change the terms reasonably (e.g. when features are expanded). We will announce changes on the website; by continuing to use the app you agree to the current version.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Any disputes are resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic. A consumer may also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz) as an out-of-court dispute resolution body.
